Spay/Neuter Fees

Cats

  • TNR Cats   $40 (male or female, includes an FVRCP vaccine and Rabies vaccine.  TNR Cats must arrive in a trap and receive an ear-tip to qualify.)

  • A 1-Year Rabies vaccine will be given for an additional $10 if proof of current vaccination is not provided at time of service.
  • A post-operative pain injection and courtesy nail trim are included at no additional charge if needed.  Additional pain meds may be purchased on the day of your animal’s appointment.
  • We provide all dogs and cats with a small green-line tattoo mark adjacent to their incision to facilitate future veterinary examinations.
  • We do not charge any additional fees for female animals in heat but do ask that you tell us ahead of time so we can plan our schedule accordingly.
  • Pregnant animals will be charged an additional amount based on trimester as determined by the veterinarian at the time of surgery.
  • Females with hydrometra or pyometra will be charged an additional amount based on severity as graded by the veterinarian at the time of surgery.
  • Male cats and dogs that are cryptorchid (undescended testicle) will be charged an additional $25 per undescended testicle.  We must be informed of your animal’s condition at the time you make the appointment so we can set aside the required amount of time on our schedule.

Additional Anesthesia         $15

We always recommend microchips ($25) if finances allow.  For dogs needing a standard vaccine our veterinarians recommend the DHLPP combo vaccine ($20).  For cats the FVRCP combo vaccine ($20) is recommended along with the FELV vaccine ($25).  Preventative de-worming is available and we can also apply topical flea treatment for $10-$15 per dose (one month).
